Tactile Editions publishes experimental, text-based, and visual works of contemporary art.

Founded in 2023 between Helsinki and Berlin by Mikko Rikala and Maya Byskov, as a platform to produce and present objects* beyond the confines of conventional commercial art world infrastructure. 

We produce limited pieces at a slow pace, invested in creating an antidote to these frenetic and vapid times, for ourselves and for you. We favor focused listening, deep looking, manual processes and printing techniques, thus establishing close relationships with artists, craftsmen, and retailers, from conception to production and beyond. Occasionally, Tactile Editions also releases music and curates exhibitions.
